Took his harmonicas to England and Ireland in 1992
By 1997, Brendan had made several CDs and also recorded with Shirley Bassey, Mary Black, Van Morrison, guitarist John Williams, orchestral composer Paul Mauriat, and with Sting.
He redefined the term 'Irish Harp' by winning the 1993 All Ireland Title and subsequent album "New Irish Harmonica."
He has developed a number of innovations in harmonica construction. The Power Reed Valve System has been adopted by Suzuki for their top-of-the-line ProMaster harmonica.

Usually heard singing her songs in London; returned to NZ for a concert tour in March 2000.
"I was singing around Wellington in the days of The Balladeer, Monde Marie, Chez Paris (1965-6) Auckland for the Uptown Gallery, Henry VIII, Wynyard Taven, Poles Apart (1964-onwards), Christchurch for The Folk Centre (Phil Garland, 1966+) and so on."I have now been in Australia for 20-odd years, writing and singing, and until recently I was running The Loaded Dog, one of Aus's premier folk venues and the only club-like one in Central Sydney.
"Sadly, Max Winnie and Bob Pomeroy are dead."

Frank runs a printing business called "The Busy Boordy" at Tenterfield NSW. And according to Richard Mills, he is "singing and playing like an angel around Aus. He came down and sang divinely at The Loaded Dog in Sydney couple of years ago," says Richard, "surely there is no finer exponent of white blues in Australia, his performance was impeccable and rivetting."Frank also draws a really bonzer Galah at the bottom of his e-mails.

They also do Leatherman, Dug-Out in the True and have done The Swag and the Shiner.A Brisbane band called Leaping Lizards used to do Smoko-Spello, a number of groups and performers have played Farewell to the Gold, and he thinks Talking Dog is on Alan Scott's latest CD.
